Ring & Relic Recovery
Privacy Policy
Recovery requests can involve personal property, private land and sensitive locations. We handle that information with the same discretion we bring to the search itself.
Information you choose to provide
When you contact us, you may provide your name, phone number, project type, the nearest address, photographs, maps, item details and other information needed to understand the search.
The website inquiry form prepares a text message on your device. It does not publish your information or add you to a newsletter.
How we use it
Information you provide may be used to respond to your inquiry, evaluate access and safety, plan the search, discuss scheduling or cost, document the project and maintain reasonable business, insurance and project records.
Location privacy and project documentation
Exact recovery locations, private-property details and sensitive historical sites are not publicly disclosed without the property owner's consent. Public descriptions normally identify only a county or broad area.
Private project casebooks may include source citations, permissions, maps, photographs, coordinates, field notes and findings. In a rare case that warrants institutional documentation, information may be shared with a museum or historical society only with the owner's consent, unless disclosure is required by law or necessary for safety.
Photo privacy: images prepared for this public website are processed to remove embedded location metadata before publication.
Website analytics and cookies
We use Google Site Kit and Google Analytics to understand how the site is found and used. These services may collect information such as pages visited, device and browser type, referring source and approximate region. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers and outside links
Website hosting, analytics and communication providers may process limited information as needed to operate their services. Links to third-party websites are governed by those sites' own privacy practices.
Retention and your choices
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the project, documentation, legal obligations and legitimate business records. You may ask what information you provided or request a correction by calling or texting us.
